How does
socioeconomic status affect the risk of depression?
Socioeconomic status is a balanced tool of a person or family
where we can weigh their social and economic condition based on things like
income, education, and occupation. Socioeconomic status easily predicts his
health status became the economic condition influences resources and
opportunity and access to facilities.
Lower
Income Class
The lower class has adjusted itself to its poverty life. They
just try to feed themselves through anyway, by hard work or through community
help, they feed their family and feel nothing bad. They not worried about their
child’s education usually some organization or society support them to their
school going children.
Their teenager’s children work in luxury houses, and they pay
them some money and food. They work hard and, because of tiredness and fatigue,
go to bed and sleep early with no obsession.
Some studies show that low-income people get depressed
easily. But researchers do not understand well what causal mechanisms show this
relationship. The more luxury lifestyle youths have attempted suicide because
of severe depression. The youth, who was a university student has attempted
suicide and wrote a letter that said,
There is no deficiency
in his life, but I tied from my useless life; my life has no meaning anymore.
Anymore, high classes, life parents have no control to guide their children and
cannot say no to them. In lower-class families, people can see the ability of
their family, where they spend and from where they get money.
If gets money, the
record of online shops will show you who is ordering and who ordered from the
online shop. This theory should be considered if we want to know a deep
analysis of why’s of why that class of life gets depression or mental
disorders.
Material
Deprivation:
Low SES can lead to limited access to essential resources
like adequate housing, nutritious food, healthcare, and education. This
deprivation can create chronic stress and contribute to feelings of
hopelessness and despair, increasing the risk of depression.
Low SES may cause stress and anxiety because of a lack of
essential facilities like a car or a furnished house, education, and
healthcare, but along with these issues, any sensible man can get stressed, but
very few of them are taking sleep pills as compared to the high class.
In this type of people’s class, there is a strong
relationship with every member of the family. With that relationship secure,
the family member relaxed and developed confidence in himself. Therefore, their
older and youth or elders are not mostly associated with having depression.
Comparison of Wealthier and Middle class
Problem
A study supports my idea that I said the rich are more
affected by depression than the poor. A survey in 18 countries showed that
wealthy people have a higher risk of depression compared with middle-class
people.
If a middle-class
person received a power bill for example, $20 and he had $10 then he would
borrow $10 and pay the bill, but a wealthier person is facing income tax court
due to not having a huge amount of unpaid tax, and then he cannot escape from
stress and is at high risk of depression.
Indeed, whether we are affluent or belong to the middle
class, we need discipline, positive thinking, and adherence to the realities of
life expenses.
We require discipline,
positive thinking, and an awareness of the realities of living expenses.
Everyone, regardless of their social class, should strive not to cross the red
line in business and in all other aspects of life.
Opinion
We must consider various factors in any job, including
religion, social status, and society, while also accepting lower earnings, but
we should avoid cheating and becoming complacent.
Life is about balance. Everyone faces problems, whether a
business struggle or other issues. It’s up to us to tackle these challenges
wisely without getting tense or stressed. Neither the poor nor the wealthy has
ever solved every problem in life. That’s just the way it is. To make a mission
of living a peaceful life, we must learn to navigate its difficulties without
getting stressed or falling into depression.
